About Me

About Me

Hi, I’m Michaela Kaye, an Auckland-based professional makeup artist, hairstylist, and spray tan technician of over five years, specialising in weddings, school balls and special occasions.

My career began in 2013 while studying at Cut Above Academy, and it was here that my passion for all things makeup, hair, and beauty was ignited. Following this, I sought further qualifications as a spray tan technician, and fine-tuned my skills as a bridal makeup specialist at The Makeup School in Ponsonby.

To date, I’ve worked with hundreds of beautiful women. I pride myself on creating timeless looks for any occasion, making my clients feel beautiful and happy with the results, and being adaptable to each person’s needs. For me, being a makeup artist is about providing you with inner confidence, and creating a memorable, relaxing experience.

Whether you need your makeup done for your big day, or you want to be bronzed for a special occasion, I look forward to working with you and creating a look that you’ll remember for years to come. While I live in Auckland, I also love traveling throughout New Zealand for weddings or other special occasions; please don’t hesitate to contact me regarding any of your questions, queries and quoting needs.
